%X The use of the soil improperly, that is, without adequate planning for its impoverishment and low productivity of the crops. The Experimental Farm Lageado located in the municipality of Botucatu with areas of permanent and temporary crops such as coffee, corn, beans, cassava, wheat, vegetables and areas linked to research. Thus, the present article has as objective to elaborate a map of incompatibility of use for a Lageado Farm based on the methodology of Agricultural Aptitude of the Lands and not current use with techniques of geoprocessing. The geographical information system was used as satellite images of Landsat 8. The classification of the agricultural suitability of the land and the incompatibility of Lageado use shows that around 50% of the area is recommended for a more intensive agriculture. Which demonstrates the existence of slopes with slopes above 20% of the remaining areas and approximately 8% of the areas of Lageado Farm are being used more intensively than indicated by agricultural aptitude, which may lead to future problems of degradation of Areas. Therefore, an assessment of suitability can be considered consistent with the environmental characteristics of the environment and serves as the basis for an environmental assessment of the area. The Incompatibility map of use of great relevance for an evaluation of areas with risk of degradation, a location that fit into more critical criteria of degradation and quality of use and adaptation for each area.
